ALTOONA, Pa. – For the third consecutive season, Warren’s Emma Ruhlman was recognized as one of Pennsylvania’s finest basketball players.
Ruhlman, a senior who helped lead the Lady Dragons to their third District 10 title in four seasons, was honored as a second-team PA Sports Writers All-State selection in Class 5A.
Ruhlman, who will continue her academic and athletic career at Hillsdale College (Mich.) next season, averaged 15.6 points per game and 10.3 rebounds per game for a Warren team that knocked off Slippery Rock for the second consecutive season in the D10 title game.
She finished her career with 1,448 points and 927 rebounds, alongside senior teammate Riley Childress, who finished with 1,341 career points. Childress will continue her academic and athletic career at Roberts Wesleyan (N.Y.).
The Lady Dragons finished the season at 19-7
