Warren Volleyball Battles Past General McLane

EDINBORO, Pa. – Warren bounced back from a first-set loss to win three straight in a 3-1 (15-25, 25-14, 25-23, and 25-16) win at General McLane on Monday.

Kylie Fehlman (12) and Alexia Bowers (10) each recorded double-digit kills. Fehlman had two blocks and Bowers added six digs. Carly Beers had six kills, four aces, and 10 digs.

“Kylie Fehlman played really well at the net, making lots of big plays and Carly Beers had a nice all-around game, filling up the stat sheet,” Warren coach Mike Dolan said.

Maddy Jones had seven kills and six aces, Summer Lucks had 13 digs, two aces, and two assists, Kirsten Johnson had three blocks, and Lindsay Madigan had 32 assists and seven digs.

Lilli Mook led the Lancers with 11 kills, 17 digs, and two aces. Elaine Corwin had nine kills and 11 digs. Emily Wismer had 10 kills and Rachel LeSuer had 15 digs. Cassidy Swain had five blocks and Abby Ball ran the offense with 28 assists.

General McLane won the junior varsity match 25-16 and 25-20.

Lilly Newton had 4 kills, Maddie Nosel had 4 kills, 6 digs, and an ace, Elissa Errett had 5 assists, Sophie Walker had 4 digs and 2 aces, and Lily Walker had 2 kills and 3 digs.
