HERMITAGE, Pa. – Warren rebounded quickly from a tough 5-set loss Monday to pick up a big 5-set win at Hickory Tuesday.
After taking defending Class 1A state champion Clarion to a fifth set at home Monday, the Lady Dragons had to travel to Hermitage Tuesday for a match with the Lady Hornets.
After falling behind, 2-1, Warren rallied to win the final two sets and come away with a 19-25, 25-15, 21-25, 25-22, and 15-8 victory.
Katie Madigan had another double-double with 15 kills and 15 digs. Carly Beers had 13 kills, while Kylie Fehlman had 8 kills.
Halee Mineweaser had a big game with 7 kills, 4 aces, 12 digs and ran the offense with 27 assists.
Lindsay Madigan had 6 assists and 2 aces, Ellee Irwin added 3 aces and Summer Lucks had 7 digs in the win.
Warren swept the JV match, 25-17 and 25-18
Maddy Jones had 6 kills, Lily Walker had 4 kills, Sophie Walker had 7 digs and Bailey Roudybush had a pair of aces in the victory.
