November 27, 2021

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The National Weather Service in State College has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Warren and McKean Counties beginning at 1 p.m. Sunday.

The advisory runs until 7 a.m. Monday. Snow accumulations of two to four inches in most locations are expected. The most intense snowfall, with rates approaching an inch per hour, are expected to occur late Sunday afternoon and evening.

More persistent and heavier snow bands could bring localized amounts near six inches. These bands are expected to occur in northern and western Warren County and northern McKean County.

Slippery, snow covered roads and reduced visibility are possible.

“The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission remind motorists to adjust speeds based on driving conditions as winter weather impacts will include snow-covered roads and limited visibility,” the advisory said.
