STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The National Weather Service in State College has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Warren County beginning at 5 a.m. Friday.

The advisory runs until 1 a.m. Saturday. Lake effect snow with accumulations of two to four inches are expected, with locally higher amounts possible.

Slippery, snow covered roads are possible and could affect both the Friday morning and evening commutes.

“The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission remind motorists to adjust speeds based on driving conditions as winter weather impacts will include snow covered roads and limited visibility in some areas,” the advisory said.
