March 10, 2022

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The National Weather Service in State College has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Warren County beginning at 10 p.m. Friday.

The watch continues through 1 a.m. Sunday. Heavy snow is possible. Total snow accumulations of five to eight inches and wind gusts up to 35 mph are possible as well.

“The heaviest snow is likely to fall Saturday morning,” the NWS said. “However, lingering lighter snow, combined with gusty winds, could result in poor visibility from blowing snow into the evening hours.”

The National Weather Service warns that travel could be very difficult and gusty winds could bring branches down across roadways.
