Warren Softball Blanks DuBois

DUBOIS, Pa. – Katie Madigan drove in three runs to lead visiting Warren to an 11-0, five-inning win over DuBois Saturday.

The Warren offense, which came alive late in Friday’s win at Erie, wasted little time getting started Saturday. The Dragons scored six runs in the first inning, then added five more in the fifth.

Madigan was 2-for-4 with a run scored.

Also for the Lady Dragons, Alex Neureiter went 2-for-3 with two doubles, an RBI, and two runs scored, while Ellee Irwin was 3-for-3 with a triple, an RBI, and two runs scored.

Kelsey Stuart got the win going four innings allowing two hits and a walk while striking out six. Kylie Fehlman pitched a scoreless inning of relief striking out two.

Aleigha Gerr was 1-for-1 for DuBois, while Saige Weible was 1-for-2. Geer took the loss in the circle.
