Warren Public Library to Hold Pair of October Donation Times

WARREN, Pa. – The Warren Public Library will be accepting material donations for the final time in 2021 on two dates this month.

The Library will accept material donations on Monday, Oct. 11 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and on Thursday, Oct. 21 from 3 – 7 p.m. This will be the last time the Library is able to accept any materials until next summer when the renovation is complete.

At these donation times, volunteers will scan your donations to verify that they fit the following criteria.

The Library will happily accept: Books (Hardcover and paperback, Fiction and nonfiction, Vintage books); DVDs; CDs; Puzzles and games

The Library cannot accept: Older Textbooks; Encyclopedias; Dictionaries; Bibles; Reader’s Digest Books; Magazines; VHS and cassette tapes; Vinyl Records

All items must be pleasing to the eye and nose and ear. The Library cannot accept items that must be trashed or recycled or are otherwise unusable by others.
