Warren Overhead Door/Warren Moose Battle to Tie in Boys’ Minors; Team Weissinger Triumphs

Warren Overhead Door and Warren Moose battled to a 10-10 tie Monday night at Johnson Field in boys’ minors action.

For the visitors, Warren Moose, Reed Fitzgerald had a single and a double and Ty Bryan added a single while also pitching three scoreless innings, striking out all nine batters faced. For Warren Overhead Door, Caleb Fralick had two singles and Clay Cummings pitched three innings, striking out seven batters.

Team Wessinger Defeates Team Haynes

Led by eight strikeouts, Team Weissinger defeated Team Haynes. Notable hits from Weissinger were a 4-for-4 effort from Matt Shippee, and Keegan Weissinger. Archer Watson, Mason Gentz, and Finley Mummolo also got on base with hits.

For Team Haynes, Asher Stanton pitched three innings striking out eight. Colton Haynes also struck out three in one inning of work.

Hillview Towing Tops Warren Overhead Door

Hillview Towing played Warren Overhead Door on Saturday (April 23), as the first makeup game from the first two games that were canceled due to weather, with Hillview winning 19-11. Nolan Gesing and Holden Demers started out respectively pitching.  Bill Bennett finished up for Hillview Towing and Nathan Klinowski and Aiden Eger finished up for Warren Overhead doors.  Hillview towing had some big hitters with Carsyn Branstrom, Nolan Gesing, Zach Peters, Josh Pickna, and Ryan Huck all hitting doubles and Aaden Patch with two singles in his first-ever appearance. Holden Demers with a nice double for Warren Overhead door.
