WARREN, Pa. – It was heartbreak for the Warren boys Major All-Stars, as they dropped a 9-8 decision to Kane in an elimination game at Betts-Jackson on Wednesday.

Trace Undercoffer delivered the walk-off single for Kane in the bottom of the sixth, capping a rally from an 8-2 deficit that saw them score seven runs over the final two innings.

Things looked good for Warren early, as Tanner Stuart, Broc Bryan, Wesley Wilcox, and Wyatt Wilson hit four doubles in the span of five batters to help stake Warren to a 4-0 advantage in the first inning. Heath Genis also had an RBI single in the frame.

The lead grew to 8-2 in the fourth inning, as Bryan and Wilcox were both hit by pitches and scored on RBIs from Eddie Abplanalp and Genis.

Wilcox finished 2-for-3 for Warren with three runs scored, while Genis also had two hits.

Warren finished 2-2 in the tournament, while Kane (2-1) advances to play Potter/McKean on Friday with four teams remaining. St. Marys will play DuBois in the winners’ bracket final.
