Warren Girls Roll Past Franklin In Opener

WARREN, Pa. – Riley Childress scored 13 of her 19 points in the first quarter as the Warren Lady Dragons rolled to a 57-24 win over Franklin in their season-opener on Friday.

Emma Ruhlman scored 15 points for the Lady Dragons, who scored the first 12 points of the game and never looked back.

Kelsey Stuart added eight points for Warren, while Childress dished out six assists and Ruhlman had seven assists and seven rebounds.

Warren was also a big winner in the JV game. Halle Kuzminski scored 21 points and Sammie Ruhlman 14.

The Lady Dragons host Maplewood on Saturday, JV at 1 p.m. and Varsity to follow.
