Warren Girls Hold Off DuBois For 11th Win

WARREN, Pa. – When opposing teams key in on Warrens two leading scorers – Emma Ruhlman and Riley Childress – the Lady Dragons take it personally.

That was the case on Saturday, as Kelsey Stuart scored five of her team-high 13 points in the fourth quarter to help Warren hold off visiting DuBois, 43-38, improving to 11-1 in the process.

Leading by two at halftime, the Lady Dragons outscored DuBois 25-22 in the second half en route to the win.

Stuart, who along with Teagan Paris was honored on Senior Night, was named the Allegheny Grille of Foxburg Player of the Game and talked about the win afterward:

Gracie Ruhlman scored 10 points in the win for the Lady Dragons, while Childress finished with nine and four steals.

Emma Ruhlman had 14 rebounds and Sammie Ruhlman seven points for Warren.

Coach Lisa LaVan also talked about the win afterward:

Saige Weible scored eight of her game-high 14 points in the second half for DuBois, while Olivia Johnson had seven points and Abby Guiher six for the Beavers.
