Warren General Hospital Auxiliary Hosting Angel Giving Tree Program

November 16, 2023

WARREN, Pa. – The holiday season is in full swing at Warren General Hospital. For the Warren General Hospital Auxiliary, it is one of the busiest times of the year.

The hopeful, happy spirit of the holiday season is spread throughout WGH and the Cancer Care Center. Angel Giving Trees are lit and decorated with angels in WGH and the Cancer Care Center. These angels honor or memorialize people that hold a special place in the hearts or thoughts of members in our community.

A minimum gift of $5 for each angel or a donation of your choice will help the WGH Auxiliary enhance patient services. Everyone is invited to sponsor an angel(s) and have it placed on an Angel Giving Tree.

Each angel has an honored or memorialized name printed on an angel and the honored or memorialized individual will have their name added to a memory book.

An acknowledgement is then sent to the individual or to the memorialized person’s family to acknowledge your gift. It’s a wonderful way of saying “Merry Christmas” and also helps support services provided for WGH patients. If you are interested in more information, contact Debbie Gray at WGH 814-723-4973, extension 1835.

The Window Box Gift Shop has been stocked with unique holiday decorations, gifts, decor and food items. The WGH Auxiliary spends several days decorating the halls of the hospital and the Cancer Care Center with garlands, ornaments, bows and bright baubles to bring holiday cheer to our patients, staff and visitors.
