Warren County with 19 New Confirmed COVID Cases Reported Friday

November 28, 2020

WARREN, Pa. – Warren County had 19 new confirmed COVID-19 cases reported Friday, according to a Saturday data update.

According to the Pennsylvania Department of Health’s COVID-19 Dashboard update Saturday, Warren County’s confirmed case count was 223, an increase of 19 over Friday’s update.

The county’s confirmed case count has nearly quadrupled since the end of October, when the county had 60 cumulative confirmed cases. In the last week, the county’s confirmed case count has increased by 89.

The hospitalization data still lists eight patients hospitalized with COVID-19, none in the adult ICU or on a ventilator.

With three days left in the month, Nov. 8 remains the lone November day without a new reported case.

Despite the November case surge, Warren County still has just a single death reported.

The cumulative case count, up to 250 with probable cases, includes those cases the state considers “recovered.”

A case is considered recovered “if a case has not been reported as a death, and it is more than 30 days past the date of their first positive test (or onset of symptoms) then an individual is considered recovered,” according to the Department of Health.
