Warren County Under Winter Weather Advisory Tuesday

November 29, 2020

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The National Weather Service in State College has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Warren County beginning at midnight Tuesday.

The advisory is in effect until noon Wednesday, with total snow accumulations of five to 10 inches.

The weather is likely to impact travel Tuesday, when the heaviest snowfall is expected, according to the NWS. Both the morning and evening commutes could be impacted.

Rain is forecast Monday, which will turn to snow overnight when the advisory goes into effect. Snow will be steady Monday night into Tuesday, but will “gradually transition to lake effect snow showers Tuesday into Wednesday,” the NWS said.

“The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission remind motorists to adjust speeds based on driving conditions as winter weather impacts will include snow covered roads and limited visibility in some areas,” the advisory said.
