Warren County Relay for Life Holds Annual Event

June 20, 2022

NORTH WARREN, Pa. – It was an opportunity to celebrate, remember and hope as the Warren County Relay for Life held its annual event at the North Warren Community Park on Saturday.

Fun was had, stories were shared and money was raised for the American Cancer Society in the fight against cancer.

Chloe Frank, a childhood survivor of acute lymphoblastic leukemia who was just 13 when diagnosed, served as the keynote speaker to kick off the event.

There was music, games, and raffles held throughout the day, with the lighting of the luminaries at 9 p.m. putting a cap on the festivities.

As of Saturday night, a total of $13,228.68 was raised, with Team Haven Sent accruing the most dollars at $4,018.

Donations help fund cancer research and patient care programs with the American Cancer Society.
