Warren County Notary Gibson Facing Multiple Felony Charges

WARREN, Pa. – Warren County notary Brenda Gibson is facing numerous felony charges after being arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Todd Woodin on Monday.

Gibson, whose notary office is located at 1595 Market St. in North Warren, faces two counts of theft by unlawful taking, two counts of receiving stolen property, two counts of theft by deception, two counts of theft by failure to make required disposition of funds, two counts other reason access device is unauthorized by issuer and one count of deceptive business practices – all felonies.

Gibson was released on $250,000 unsecured bail.

A preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 26 at 10:30 a.m.
