There’s still time to submit photos for the Warren County Conservation District (WCCD) 2nd Annual Photo Contest.
Submit your 8×10 matted photo (no frames) to WCCD at 4000 Conewango Ave., Warren, PA by September 17th at 4 p.m. Categories include: Tractors, Birds, Flowers, and People in Nature.
Only two photos can be entered in each category per entrant and photos MUST be taken in Warren County. On the back of the photo, please write your name, address, phone number, place where the photo was taken, and category. The cost to enter is $2 per photo.
The public is invited to come to the WCCD office between September 20th and October 4th to vote for their favorite photo in each category for the People’s Choice award. Photos will be judged by members of the Warren Camera Club on October 6th and winners will be announced on October 8th.
Prizes are provided by Allegheny Outfitters and include $10 gift cards for First Prize and People’s Choice winners in each category. A $50 gift card will also be awarded to the overall Best of Show.
If you are an employee or director of the Warren County Conservation District or a professional photographer you are not eligible to participate. (Professional photographers are considered to be anyone who has ever been paid to take photos or sold photos of any kind.)
By submitting your entry, you are stating that you are the owner of the photograph(s) and that you give WCCD permission to use your photo without restrictions now or in the future.
