Warren County 4-H Accepting Scholarship Applications

January 27, 2021

The Warren County 4-H program is accepting applications for the 2021 4-H Program Development Committee Scholarships and the Wright Fund Scholarship.

Each year the 4-H program offers scholarships to current or past members who completed a minimum of three years in the Warren County program. The scholarships are also open to volunteers pursuing post-secondary degrees. The award is renewable to past winners.  It is not available for graduate-level work.

Both scholarships have been established through donations and fundraising undertaken by the 4-H program. One application may be completed for both scholarship opportunities. The Wright Fund Scholarship is available for individuals enrolled in an education, human services, family living or consumer science field.

Warren County 4-H members and volunteers are encouraged to complete applications by April 1. Depending on funding and quality of applicants, one to three scholarships will be available from the 4-H Committee in addition to the one Wright Fund scholarship. Each scholarship is $1000 made payable to the recipient and the educational institution. Applications may be obtained by contacting the Penn State Extension office in Warren County at 814-563-9388 or by emailing [email protected].
