YOUNGSVILLE, Pa. – Warren Area High School’s Lauren Walker and Jakobe Anthony led the varsity bowling teams at Valley Bowling Center this week.
Anthony carved a 685 handicap series and Walker a 650.
The other three members of the Varsity Team for the week are Warren’s Alex Zeigler (681), Wes Kiehl (673) and Tanner Carlson (656) all of WAHS.
The girls Varsity Team members for the week also include Maygan Stoddard of Youngsville (648), Georgie Bickling of Warren (645) and Savannah Upton of Youngsville (640).
This season, Valley Bowling Center has introduced the concept of weekly “varsity teams” based on series handicap. High school bowlers in the Saturday Strikers, Youngsville Middle/High School and Warren High School Leagues are eligible for the varsity teams.
