Volunteer EMTs Needed, Training Provided

TIONESTA, Pa. – Forest County is looking for volunteers to become Emergency Medical Technicians.

Classes will be held at Clarion University on Tuesday and Thursday from 6 – 10 p.m. beginning Aug. 30 and end in early January. There will be one weekend class.

The Forest County Commissioners will pay for this training as long as the student agrees to give two years of volunteer service to either the Tionesta or Marienville ambulance service. Anyone in the community can sign up to participate in this training.

Forest Area school students who complete the training can earn credit toward graduation. Further information is available by calling the school offices.

Please consider this opportunity to volunteer and help to keep our community strong by offering emergency medical services. Interested volunteers should complete the agreement and enrollment form and return it to the Forest County Commissioners Office at 526 Elm Street, Tionesta, Pa. 16353.
