UPDATE: Warren Public Library Closure Extended

November 24, 2020

WARREN, Pa. – The Warren Public Library announced Monday that it will be closed until at least Nov. 30, a 6-day extension to its original closure announcement.

All appointments scheduled for the week are canceled, and the library requested anyone with scheduled appointments to call to reschedule at a later date.

Books and materials may still be returned through the drop on Market Street. Fines accrued during the closure will be waived, the library said.

This story updates a previous story, the original version follows:

WARREN, Pa. – The Warren Public Library announced via its Facebook page that it was closing “unexpectedly” Friday, and would remain closed until at least Tuesday, Nov. 24.

All browse appointments scheduled for Monday have been canceled, the post said. Appointments scheduled for later in the week should confirm before arriving.

WPL Director Kelli Knapp said they hope to be open on Tuesday, but that at this time she is unsure if that will happen or not.
