UPDATE: The Plaza Restaurant to Reopen Thursday

WARREN, Pa. – The Plaza Restaurant in downtown Warren is ready to reopen its doors Thursday after closing due to COVID contact earlier in the week.

A staff member at the restaurant was notified Monday they had come in contact with a COVID positive patient, and The Plaza closed its doors just before noon. The restaurant announced Wednesday night, via its Facebook page, that it would resume normal operations Thursday.

MONDAY: The Plaza Restaurant in downtown Warren closed Monday after learning staff members had come in contact with a COVID positive patient.

In a Facebook post just before noon, the restaurant announced the closure.

As of 7 p.m. Monday, no timeframe for reopening had been posted.

Emails and messages requesting comment from the restaurant had not been returned by 7 p.m. Monday.
