UPDATE: Mother Says Missing Warren Woman Found Safe; PSP Confirms

WARREN, Pa. – The mother of Sierra Tannler, who was reported missing on Aug. 2, said in a Facebook post on Friday that Tannler had been found and is safe.

Tannler, 29 of Warren, had been reported missing to Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police on Aug. 2. Media and social media posts seeking information on her whereabouts began circulating on Aug. 9 and were shared thousands of times.

At approximately 8 a.m. Friday, Aug. 13, Tannler’s mother, Amy Wachter, said in a comment on one of her Facebook posts that Tannler had been located and was safe.

Warren-baesd Pennsylvania State Police confirmed that Tannler had been located safely in Tennessee.
