Trio of WAHS Student-Athletes Sign National Letters of Intent

WARREN, Pa. – A trio of Warren athletes signed their National Letters of Intent on Thursday at Warren Area High School.

Katie Madigan will be attending Clarion University as part of their swimming and diving team. Madigan won a District 10 diving championship as a junior and finished fourth at the PIAA championships. She has also been a standout volleyball and softball player.

Riley Childress will be attending Roberts Wesleyan College (Rochester, N.Y.) and playing basketball. Childress burst onto the scene as a freshman, starting from Day 1. She is closing in on 1,000-career points and has helped lead the Lady Dragons to a pair of District 10 titles.

Emma Ruhlman will be attending Hillsdale College in Michigan and playing basketball. Ruhlman has started since she was a freshman and is a 1,000-point scorer. Like Childress, she has played a big role in helping the Lady Dragons to those District 10 titles.
