Timothy E. Bailor

July 19, 2021

Timothy E. Bailor, 64, of 20 Church St., Tidioute, Pa., passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, July 17, 2021, surrounded by his family.

Tim was born May 3, 1957, in Tidioute, Pa., where he was a lifelong resident. He grew up on Kinnear Street, spending most of his time in the woods with his siblings. He was a 1976 graduate of the Tidioute High School, and following high school served in the U.S. Navy. He married the love of his life, Kelly (Sphon) Bailor on March 8, 1984. Tim retired from the United Refining Company after working 25 plus years.

He once was an active member of the Tidioute Area Volunteer Fire Department and served as a board member for the Tidioute Borough. In his off time, he enjoyed camping and sitting around campfires with his family and friends. He will be most remembered for his funny nature. He was an outgoing, caring man who always had a laugh in store. No one could forget his infectious laugh or stories of his past.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children: two daughters: Leanne (Will Aurig) Bailor of Tidioute, and Emily (Justin) Sweitzer of Tidioute: one son, Jon (Brittany) Bailor of Tidioute; a goddaughter, Delia Campisano; five brothers and sisters: Andra (Daniel) Quinn of Irvine, Dana (David) Borland of Tennessee, SuzAnn (James) Warden of Townville, David Bailor of Warren, and Renee Bailor of Tidioute; three grandchildren: Ayden Bailor, Kaylee Sweitzer and Gavin Bailor; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers: John and Steven Bailor; a grandson, Issac “Zeke” Sweitzer; a granddaughter, Ella Rose Bailor; and a nephew J.C. Warden.

As he requested, there will not be a service held. Tim wanted people to gather in a happier setting and “eat a lot of food.”

Friends and family are invited for a memorial picnic planned on Saturday July 31, 2021, at 1 p.m., at the Island Park in Youngsville Pa.

McKinney Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Inc. 54 W., Main St. Youngsville have been entrusted with the arrangements.
