Teen Killed in UTV Crash

HOWE TOWNSHIP, Pa. – An Ohio teen was killed as a result of a UTV crash in Forest County, according to a release from Marienville-based Pennsylvania State Police.

Just after 1 p.m. on July 29, PSP-Marienville troopers responded to a UTV crash in a wooded area near Sheffield Junction Road in Howe Township. Police said the UTV’s operator, a 14-year-old male from Vermilion, Ohio, had sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash.

The teen was transported to UPMC Kane by Clarion Hospital EMS where he was later pronounced dead.

Investigation into the crash is ongoing.

State Police were assisted on the scene by Clarion Hospital EMS, Marienville VFD, and Sheffield VFD.
