WARREN, Pa. – The Struthers Library Theatre will be hosting its Summer Theatre Camp, Aug. 9-13.
The camp is an all-day, week-long course designed to teach the inner workings of a performing arts theatre. The course for children in grades 7-12, advanced enough to hold the attention of young theatre-goers as well as first timers.
The schedule is as follows:
August 9-13
10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.: Intro to Tech (Sets, Costumes, Stage, Sound, Lights)
12-12:30 pm: Brown Bag Lunch (Bring Your Own)
12:30-2 p.m.: Intro to Script-Writing
2-3 p.m.: Intro to Movement w/ Logan Johnson & Marylin Shene
3-4 p.m: Improv w/ Sue Spencer
4 p.m.: Parent Pickup
*There will be no public performance at the end of the week. This course is designed as a primer and continued education for Academy students.
