STREAM Girls Program to be held at Chapman State Park

September 6, 2021

CLARENDON, Pa. – Chapman State Park will be hosting a STREAM girls program on Saturday, Sept. 11, as well as Sunday, Sept. 12.

Girls ages 11-14 are invited to join Chapman State Park and Trout Unlimited Cornplanter Chapter for a weekend of exploring a stream, sampling aquatic bugs, fly tying, fishing and other activities.

STREAM girls is Trout Unlimited’s watershed STEM program that builds confidence and breaks down barriers in science and the outdoors. Through the eyes of a scientist, artist and angler, girls make a personal connection to their home waters.

The program runs from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Saturday and 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday. Spots are still available, and all meals and materials are provided. Attendance is required for both days.
