LAWRENCE PARK, Pa. – Freshman Clara Steinberg poured in 25 of her career-high 34 points in the first half as Eisenhower earned a 60-12 win over Jamestown in the opening round of the Barringer Holiday Classic.

Included in Steinberg’s 34-point effort were four 3’s. Laney Font scored nine of her 11 points in the second half for Eisenhower.

“(They) started strong and finished strong, firing on all cylinders,” Eisenhower coach DJ Steinberg said. “Shots were falling, forced turnovers nearly every possession. The girls just flat-out played a great game of basketball.”

Alayna Cadman had nine points to lead Jamestown.

The Knights will take on host Iroquois, a 29-22 winner over Rocky Grove, for the Classic championship at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
