State Police Seeking Information on Hit-and-Run

May 11, 2022

WARREN, Pa. – Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police are seeking information about a hit-and-run accident that occurred on Route 6 in Mead Township Monday.

According to police, a 25-year-old Sheffield man was heading east on Route 6 in a 2002 Volkswagen Golf just before 5:30 p.m. Monday when he attempted a “stopping sequence” just south of Cherry Grove Road. The VW Golf was rear-ended by a “4-5 year old black Dodge Ram 1500” operated by an unknown white male.

The Dodge fled the scene, police said, without exchanging information with the VW Golf. The truck would have noticeable damage to the driver side front bumper.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call PSP-Warren at 814-728-3600.
