State Police Seek Information on Sunday Hit and Run Incident

SUGAR GROVE, Pa. – Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police are seeking information about a hit and run incident that occurred on Jackson Run Road in Sugar Grove on Sunday, Dec. 19.

A Sugar Grove woman was driving north on Jackson Run with her daughter and granddaughter in her burgundy GMC pickup truck at approximately 4:25 p.m. when her vehicle was forced off the road by a large truck, according to police.

The truck, “most likely a commercial vehicle,” then continued driving north “without stopping and rendering aid or providing information,” police said.

The woman’s granddaughter was not injured, but the daughter was seriously injured in the incident, according to police.

The suspect vehicle “should show paint transfer along with fresh damage to the passenger side,” police said.
