Franklin based state police are currently investigating a case of identity theft.
The case involves an unknown actor or actors using the victim’s ID to file for unemployment.
Unknown actor or actors also used the victim’s information to open up three different bank accounts with Sun Trust, located in Richmond, Va.
All three bank accounts have been overdrawn and the victim states she has never had any bank accounts with Sun Trust.
