WARREN, Pa. – It’s time to get in the Christmas Spirit.

The Warren County Chamber of Business and Industry’s annual Downtown Warren Christmas parade/walk kicks off on Friday at 6 p.m. along Pennsylvania Ave. from Market St. to Hickory St.

“It’s nice to see people back out around town having vendors, smiling faces,” WCCBI’s John Papalia. “It’s just really great for the community, I think.”

The Christmas walk itself officially kicks off at 5 p.m.

Your Daily Local will be there with live coverage throughout the evening, including a live stream of the entire parade.

Vendors include McKissock Warren – Colibri Group’s ‘Who-ville,’ and, of course, the most important of all, Santa.

“It’s what we’re all about, trying to drive people to local businesses and vendors,” Papalia said. “And the town always embraces it. You see businesses staying open, McKissock with ‘Who-ville’ it’s just awesome.”

In addition to the parade and vendors, there will be plenty of other entertainment as well, including:

• At Warren Family Chiropractic: Molly Dies’ Dance Express performance from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.

• At the Northern Pennsylvania Regional College Office: Letters to Santa Mailbox.

• The First Presbyterian Church will present a Nativity Walk from 6 – 8 p.m. Free hot cocoa and candy canes will be available.

• At the Warren County Historical Society: Victorian Christmas Open House from 6 – 8:30 p.m.; Youngsville Middle High School Orchestra performs from 6 – 8 p.m.
