She was born August 29, 1950, in Alexandria, IN, a daughter to the late Rev. Ollie and Wilma (Hague) McCune. Sharon worked at Blair for a number of years and was a very active member at the Pittsfield Wesleyan Methodist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher and a junior church teacher. She was a Cub Scout Leader and enjoyed reading, crafts and sewing.
Sharon is survived by 2 sons, Jeffery (Tonya) Haight of Warren and Christopher Haight and his partner, Louis Dang, of Houston, TX; her siblings, Diana, Becky, Pam and Jim; 4 grandchildren, Caia (Icarus), Tyler (Alisha), Nicholas (Chelsea) and Matthew; 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, L. Terry Haight, whom she married on April 3, 1970 in Kokomo, IN, and two brothers, Larry and Steve.
A private family service will be held at the Pittsfield Wesleyan Methodist Church. Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kinzua Healthcare and Rehab Center Activity Fund, 205 Water Street, Warren, Pa 16365.
The Nelson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, in Youngsville have been entrusted with all arrangements.
