Andy CloseSean Richard McCarthy, 63, of Warren, Pa., passed away unexpectedly at his home on Dec. 31, 2021.
He was born on Jan. 4, 1958, in Warren, Pa., a son to the late Richard “Mac” McCarthy and Dorothy (Giancotti) McCarthy, who survives him.
Sean was a 1976 graduate of Southwestern High School and he owned and operated McCarthy Construction.
Sean enjoyed boating on the reservoir with his son and family and could be found at home in the garage working on restoration projects with his loving lab companions.
In addition to his mother, Sean will be truly missed by his loving wife, Pamela (Hanson) McCarthy; his son, Jason (Cindy); his grandsons: Dominick (Angelica) and Dawson; a great-granddaughter, Khalani’ and his sisters: Colleen McCarthy, Sheila (Dennis) Webster, Molly (Paul) Irwin and Ann (Steve) Gurin.
No services will be held at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
