Salvatore ‘Sam’ R. Frangione

Salvatore “Sam” R. Frangione, 61, of Trask Road, Sugar Grove, Pa., passed away Nov. 11, 2021, at UPMC Hamot, Erie, Pa.

Born Feb. 1, 1960, in Jamestown, N.Y., he was the son of the late Joseph and Doris (Hagg) Frangione.

Sam formerly worked at Stateline Speedway and Titan X. He loved working at the races, mowing his lawn and spending time with his family. He was known for being a kid at heart along with having a heart of gold. He enjoyed making people laugh and was loved by everyone that knew him.

Surviving him are four children; two sons: Jason Frangione of Sugar Grove and Brandon Frangione of Warren and two daughters: Apprille Seamens of South Carolina and Brianna O’Brien of Sugar Grove; two brothers: Joseph O. (Cheryl) Frangione of Cape Coral, Fla., and Alfredo (Jill) Frangione of Sugar Grove; two granddaughters: Maddox Preston and Destiny Frangione; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends will be received at the McKinney Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Inc., 117 Main St., Sugar Grove, Pa., on Thursday, Nov. 18, 2021, from 2-5 p.m., at which time a funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. Immediately following the service, everyone is invited to a celebration of life at the Busti Fire Hall.
