Robert ‘Bobby’ Dell

Robert “Bobby” Dell II, of Rio Grande, NJ, passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 7, 2020.

Bobby was born August 5, 1960, in Warren, Pa, a son to the late Robert and Bonnie (Hebner) Dell. He was Bob and Bonnie’s second son. Bobby loved to fish in the ocean near Cape May, NJ, sending many pictures of the fish he caught to his brother. He enjoyed working on vehicles and was known for his amazing skills as a painter and auto body repairman. He inspired his nephew, Troy, to follow in his footsteps and build his own reputation as one of the best painters around. Bobby loved to spend time with Elaine in their hot tub, relaxing the cares of the world away. He also loved to come back to PA to visit with family and spend the evening around a fire at his parents’ home. He loved to see how big the fire would go and his nephews have inherited his love for big fires. Bobby will be missed as a loving fiancé, father, grandfather, brother and uncle who put others above himself.

He is survived by his fiancé, Elaine Starrett of Rio Grande, NJ, her two sons, John and Alex and her daughter, Dana; his son, Robert “BJ” Dell III and his two grandchildren, Dominic and Konstanze, of Pittsfield, Pa; two sisters, Barb (Bob) Chittum and Beverly Dell; two brothers, Fred (Nancy Wolfe) Dell and Jeff (Tina) Dell and numerous nieces and nephews who all loved him dearly and have many memories of spending time with him.

A combined memorial service for Bobby and his parents, Bonnie and Robert, will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at The Nelson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 314 North Main Street, Youngsville, Pa 16371, at 10am with visitation 1 hour prior. The Rev. Larry Little will officiate.
