PLEASANT TWP, Pa. – The annual Spring Clean-up Day for Pleasant Township residents will be held Saturday, May 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the township municipal building.
Drivers’ licenses will be checked to verify township residency. Pleasant Township residents may bring any articles to discard with the following exceptions:
- No household garbage.
- No shingles or similar roofing material.
- No tires or hazardous materials such as chemicals, biohazards, paints, thinners or oil.
- NO ELECTRONICS.
- Car batteries will be accepted but will be palletized separately.
- Scrap metals and used motor oil will be collected separately.
- Gasses/chemicals must be removed from refrigerators, air conditioners, and dehumidifiers.
Cost is $10 per car or $15 per pickup truck. The fee for any vehicle larger than a pickup truck is $25
Pleasant Volunteer Firemen will plan to assist and accept donations for the Pleasant Volunteer Fire Dept.
