Andy CloseOtto F. Roell, 102, a resident of the Rouse Home in Youngsville and formerly of the Suites at the Rouse passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020 at the Rouse Home.
Born on July 3, 1918, he was the son of the late Otto F. and Lottie Byers Roell. He graduated from Tarentum High School and served in the United States Army during WWII in the Pacific Theater.
He married Mary Malcolm Roell who preceded him in death March 22, 2017. Surviving are 3 children; Philip Roell of Sugar Grove, Pa, Fred Roell of Sheffield, Pa, and Ottalee Hanz of Sarver, Pa, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. McKinney Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Inc. in Youngsville have been entrusted with all arrangements.
