
ELDRED, Pa. – Otto-Eldred scored on its first six possessions en route to a 50-24 win over visiting Sheffield on Friday.
The Terrors scored on seven of their 10 possessions in the game, and while O-E was punching the ball in the endzone, the Wolverines punted on five of their first six possessions. The sixth ended in a safety.
Andrew Schenfield threw for 255 yards and three touchdowns. Ray’Shene Thomas led the Terrors’ receiving corps with four catches for 75 yards and a score. Hunter App had 141 total yards (70 rushing, 71 receiving) and three total touchdowns.
Otto-Eldred held Sheffield to negative yards through most of the first two quarters. Once they found their groove, thanks to a 40-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter, the Wolverines compiled nearly 200 yards of offense.
Colby Barr was 7-14 passing for 201 yards and two touchdowns. Dylan Hardwick had two receptions for 80 yards and a score.
Sheffield travels to Cameron County next week.
