FRANKLIN, Pa. – The Northern Pennsylvania Regional College announced that it opened a new location in Franklin for the start of the 2022-23 academic year.

The college said in a release on Friday that the instructional location at The Galena Building officially opened on Aug. 17.

“The Galena Building features several classrooms in addition to faculty and staff office space,” NPRC said in the release. “This expansion in Venango County will bring a new academic location for students, while the Venango Technology Center focuses on the delivery of NPRC workforce development offerings in this part of NPRC’s service region.”

The new location will primarily serve students from Venango and Crawford Counties, as well as dual enrollment students from the Crawford Central School District.

“Dual Enrollment is an early entry program at Northern Pennsylvania Regional College for students who are concurrently enrolled and pursuing coursework at both NPRC and their local public school district, homeschool, or other online secondary education entity,” the release said. “This new academic instructional location services all class offerings, including the morning options for students as NPRC continues to provide additional flexibility to students.”

This instructional location’s physical address is 1140 Liberty Street, Suite 100 in Franklin.
