North Clarion hands Sheffield Boys First Loss

FRILLS CORNERS, Pa. – Tony Richards scored 11 points but it wasn’t quite enough as North Clarion handed Sheffield its first loss of the season, 59-52.

Sheffield led 21-19 at halftime, but the Wolves went on a 21-11 third quarter run, thanks to Zeelan Hargenrader, who scored eight of his 17 points during the surge.

Aiden Hartle also had 17 points for North Clarion, which notched its first win.

Lucas McNeal added 10 points for Sheffield, while Tyler Hepinger and Connor Finch netted nine each.

Sheffield returns to action Thursday at Eisenhower.
