Multiple Weather Advisories for Chautauqua County

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued three weather advisories for Chautauqua County stretching from early Sunday morning into Monday morning.

A Wind Advisory is in effect until 7 a.m. Monday. The alert was issued at 2:53 a.m. Sunday and warns of wind gusts between 30 and 45 mph, with the strongest winds along the Lake Erie shoreline.

A Lakeshore Flood Advisory is in effect from 1 p.m. Sunday – 4 a.m. Monday. Minor lakeshore flooding, including water on low lying roads and property along the lakeshore is expected.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 5 p.m. Sunday – 7 a.m. Monday. Snow accumulations between four and seven inches are expected, along with wind gusts up to 45 mph.
