More Than 20 Pounds of Methamphetamine Seized by Warren County Drug Task Force Friday

RUSSELL, Pa. – The Warren County Drug Task Force made “one of the largest drug seizures in Warren County history” during a search of a Russell home on Friday.

UPDATE, March 26, 4:45 p.m. – According to online court records, McCall’s bail was set at $1 million and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on March 29.

In a social media post, the WCDTF said it executed a search warrant at 5 N. Main St in Russell which “led to the seizure of approximately 21 pounds of methamphetamine.” The approximate street value of the drugs seized is “over $80,000,” according to the post.

The search, which was the result of a “year and a half long investigation” also led to Maelynne McCall being taken into custody and charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver, Endangering the Welfare of Children, and Possession of a Controlled Substance. As of 9:30 p.m. on Friday, McCall was awaiting arraignment in the Warren County prison.

The WCDTF was assisted by the Office of Attorney General Bureau of Narcotics Investigations and Drug Control Erie Office, Warren County District Attorney’s Office, Homeland Security Investigations, and the Drug Enforcement Agency.
