Longtime Youngsville Borough Manager Takes New Post with County

April 8, 2021

Lisa Hagberg is assuming a new role, but she won’t be far from her old one.

The former Youngsville Borough Manager began her new job this week as  Warren County’s Director of Finance and Administration, a role she is very excited for.

“I’m very sad to leave Youngsville, but I’m excited to serve the entire county,” Hagberg said.

Hagberg has been with the Youngsville Borough for the past 10 years. In that time, a lot has been accomplished, and friends have become family.

“I love Youngsville so I’m definitely going to miss it,” she said. “The group here has become my family and I’m going to miss them. But I won’t be far away.”

And while she’ll be serving the whole county, she’ll also still be involved in projects directly related to Youngsville.

One of those is the Community Heart and Soul, a grant program through the Pennsylvania Humanities Council.

“It’s a grant the Youngsville Borough recently received in conjunction with the Orton Foundation,” Hagberg explained. “It’s a grant that is going to bring people together and find out what people in the community want and have their voices heard. It’s a project in storytelling and through that, we hope that the values of Youngsville will rise out of that and that the things people want we can focus on those projects.”
