WARREN, Pa. – In a year so different, it should come as no surprise that ending the year will be different as well.
Because of Governor Wolf’s no indoor dining ruling, Warren restaurants are trying to find ways to give local residents a way to celebrate New Year’s Eve from home.
Yourdailylocal.com reached out to area restaurants to find out what they are doing for takeout on New Year’s Eve.
The Bucket Cafe
14 Main Street, Sugar Grove
The Bucket Cafe will be slow-cooking Prime Rib for New Year’s Eve take-out dinner as well as its regular menu (except for the Fish Fry). Beer is also available to go in 12-packs and six-packs as well as mixed-packs. The “whole shebang” is available to go, as is their 2020’s “famous cocktails” to go, a full bar of choices available for your favorite drinks.
Availability on the Prime Rib is limited, and orders will be taken starting at 4 p.m Dec. 31. The rest of the menu will be available all day long including breakfast, burgers, and more. Arrangements can be made to have your food paid and brought out to your car for you. Just give them a call and let them know. They are very accommodating.

Ribs N’ Bones Country Bar & Grille
6452 Jackson Run Road, Warren
Ribs N’ Bones will be open from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Dec. 31 and will feature its full menu plus features that include Prime Rib, Airline Chicken Marsala, and Shrimp.

The restaurant will then be closed New Year’s Day and remain closed through Jan. 11.
Cornerstone Lounge and Family Restaurant
308 Pennsylvania Avenue, Warren
Cornerstone Lounge and Family Restaurant will be open from 11 am. to 8 p.m. Dec. 31 and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Jan. 1 and will feature its regular menu.
Anyone wishing to place an order can call the restaurant at 814-723-7288, and it generally takes about 25 minutes to have the food ready.

New Beginnings Family Restaurant
3 Main Street Sugar Grove
New Beginnings will be open both Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. On New Year’s Eve it will be offering a Prime Rib or 14 ounce steak special with two sides and a dessert for $23 for one or $45 for two. Pre-orders are being accepted and are encouraged. The regular menu will also be available both Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.

Huey’s Place!
12 East Main Street, Youngsville
Huey’s Place! Will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. both Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 and will have a full menu available including it’s famous stromboli made of hand-stretched dough filled with ham, salami, parmesan cheese, provolone cheese, whole mile mozzarella cheese, tomatoes and Huey’s Pizza Sauce all for $14.99 plus tax. Huey’s Place! Also has beer in 12-packs and 6-packs to go.
