WARREN, Pa. – The Warren Public Library was very pleased to have so many children participate in our Read Your Way through the Alphabet challenge.
All participants received reading medals for their accomplishments. Names were drawn via a random drawing and three children each won a $50 Walmart gift card.
Pictured is Ebin Fileger holding the envelope with his gift card along with his Jefferson DeFrees preschool class. His entire class completed the challenge by reading books at the library and in their classroom.
Other gift card winners (not pictured) are Henry VanOrd and Kenzi Irons. Congratulations to all the readers.
The newest reading challenge provided by the library is Read Your Way through the Rainbow. Copies of this new challenge may be picked up in the lobby outside of the Children’s Department or downloaded at warrenlibrary.org on the Children’s Programs page.
