HARBORCREEK, Pa. – The Warren Lady Dragons passed one of their stiffest road tests of the season on Thursday, coming away from Harbor Creek with an important 40-27 Region 6 victory.
Riley Childress had 12 points for the Lady Dragons, who also welcomed back Kelsey Stuart.
With the win, Warren improves to 10-1 overall and 4-1 in Region 6, while Harbor Creek fell to 2-4 (1-1).
The Lady Dragons jumped out to a 21-8 lead after the first quarter.
Harbor Creek cut the margin to five at halftime thanks to a 9-1 second quarter, but Warren answered right back, outsourcing the Huskies 14-8 in the third.
Emma Ruhlman and Stuart had nine points each for Warren. Ruhlman added eight rebounds and three assists, Childress four steals and Teagan Paris seven rebounds.
Paris and Gracie Ruhlman had four points each and Sammie Ruhlman two points.
Lily Pulvino had eight points and Samantha Zank seven for Harbor Creek.
