Lady Dragons Earn Victory over D9 Foe St. Marys

ST. MARYS, Pa. – The Warren Lady Dragons moved to 4-0 on the young season with a 56-40 win at St. Marys on Saturday.

Emma Ruhlman led the offensive effort with 15 points, while Sam Ruhlman netted 14 for the Lady Dragons and Gracie Ruhlman eight.

Emma Ruhlman finished with a double-double, also collecting 10 rebounds, while Riley Childress scored six points and, along with Lindsay Madigan, played big-time defense according to head coach Lisa LaVan. Childress also had seven steals and five assists.

Ruhlman scored 15 of her 23 points in the second half.

Warren led 20-16 at halftime and went on a 21-9 run in the third quarter to pull away.

Isabella Caskey led a pair of St. Marys players in double figures with 11 points, while Maura Caskey added 10 for the Lady Dutch.
